Eighteen people attended the Readers Theatre presentation of Hamilton on the second floor of the library on February 22. Throughout the month of February, the library featured displays of various books about the Olympics, Black History and the U.S. Presidents.
Carpentry students from the Career & Technical Institute (and registered at CCC) built butterfly boxes for the South Jersey Transportation Authority in response to the state mandate to provide habitats for wildlife. Dozens of boxes were built and will be located along the Atlantic City Expressway.
Session I Mini-Courses at The Center ended with very positive reviews and a record numbers of registrations. There are currently 192 people who have purchased $75 memberships for the year, and 120 people who have paid $30 for an individual mini-course for the year representing significant increases from spring 2017.
The Naval Foundry and Propeller Center held a job fair on the Blackwood Campus on February 24. Approximately 300 people attended the event and 47 temporary job offers were made at the event. Six of those students were from Camden County College.
